Day on the Farm

Superstition Dairy Farm, Mesa, Az
We spent the day out at dairy farm with cousins. Bryan's cousin Cara and her husband Brian and their two kids came into town for the weekend, so we took the kids to the farm. We always try to get the kids together, so they will have the chance to know their cousins. Benjamin their oldest is 3 and the youngest is 1 year old. Bryce and Benjamin had a great time playing with each other. At the farm we saw sheep, goats, horses, chickens, rabbits, and TONS of dairy cows. We got to feed the animals by hand, and try 12 different flavors of milk, we took a hay ride around the farm.

Bryce's break out.

Bryce gave daddy and mommy a good scare. We were all outside playing and we had just started a fire for the evening. Bryce climbing up into my lap to watch the fire and I noticed that his hands/arms/legs/mouth were breaking out with these huge hives/boil looking things. After watching it for a few minutes and noticing it was spread quickly Bryan decided it was best we took him up to urgent care. Thank goodness we gave him benadryl before we left home, because urgent care could of cared less that our 2 year was having an allergic reaction to something. After waiting for a good 4 hours, I knew Bryce was fine and wasn't going to die. We still have no idea what broke him out, but we are making a trip to the allergist next week. Hopefully they will be able to help us and find some answers.

Daddy's turns 29!

Bryce and I made a trip to the grocery store for all the fixings to make daddy's birthday cake. As a tradition I always make Bryan his all time favorite cake. His favorite cake is a homemade German Chocolate Cake. Bryce and I are walking down the aisle to pick up the german chocolate and the coconut, Bryce spots the sprinkles cake. He grabs my hand and as mommy come, I found daddy's cake. I walk with him over to what he thought was daddy's cake and I could not tell him no. It was so cute that he had picked out the cake and the frosting with sprinkles. So, daddy got 2 birthday cakes this year.
The boys made daddy a birthday card with all different kinds of stickers...Elmo, Toy Story, Bob the Builder, and much more. Bryce picked out the perfect cactus, and Isaac got daddy some new gloves and tape measure to go with his tool chest that mommy got him.

Daddy's birthday evening out...Dinner at the Yard house. At the yard house they offered over 150 beers on draft. Boy was Bryan in heaven. After dinner we walked right over to see the new movie Sucker Punch at the IMAX.
