Tuesday: it was a playdate at Missy's house with the triplets! We have been working very hard with Bryce and trying to teach him to keep his hands and feet to himself. This was a challenge, at Missy's house because she had so many cool toys that Bryce wanted to play with and NOT share. Life of a toddler....
Bryce and Isaac have both made some new friends through the core group I have started going to on Wednesday mornings. This last week we were at Becca's house and her kids LOVE Woody and Buzz. We have found that those are Isaac's favorite toys as well. He held onto those 2 toys the whole time we were there. You gotta wonder what is it with Buzz and Woody that kids love?
Thursday: My mission of the day was to get both boys room back in order after moving Ike out of Bryce's room. We are trying everything in the world to try to understand where Bryce's anger comes from. So, we decided that we would give him his OWN room back. Ever since Ike started crawling everything of Bryce's have been taken away by Ike or mom and dad make Bryce share. By giving Bryce his room back he now has his own space without brother taking over. :) Bryce loves the fact that Isaac can go to sleep in Isaac's room, and Bryce can sleep in his BIG BOY room all by himself.
In honor of Bryan and veterans day we took him out to dinner. We started off at Applebee's where they were giving away a free meal to all veterans, and ended up at Hayashi Japanese Steakhouse due to the wait at Applebee's. Bryce got to try eating with chop sticks for the first time. He did very well considering what he was working with, and Isaac sample his first piece of sushi. Believe it or not, he actually like it and wanted more. The kid will eat anything and everything in sight. We are in trouble the older he gets.
Our weekend was filled with baseball, garage sales, grandparents, good friends, cleaning, and best part of all Bryan's world famous ribs on the grill!
Gotta love that man!!!
We welcome Monday with a Turkey playdate with all of our friends.
Sugar cookies lined the table with m&m and icing for the kids to go to town decorating cookies.
